Match-Ups for Second Round

Apparently the hockey gods hate me. Out of my four favorite teams ONE of them made it through to the next round, and that wasn't San Jose. Wonderful.

East:
Boston Bruins vs Carolina Hurricanes (Honestly I don't care. Boston'll win it)
Pittsburgh Penguins vs Washington Capitals

West:
Detroit Red Wings vs Anaheim Ducks (Can't stand either team..)
Vancouver Canucks vs Chicago Blackhawks

Sexy Oreo Cookie..

I'll be the first to admit that I was too tough on Price last night. I wasn't impressed with his gesture to the crowd but everyone was so frustrated that looking back, it's understandable. The crowd should never turn on their own team but when emotions run high shit happens. I have faith that he'll come out of training camp strong this September.

This interview basically makes my life. I say it all the time but watching Carey come up from Tricity with the personality of a thumbtack I was worried he'd never break out of his shell and actually show some emotion. Now he is. Thank God.

"See you in September"

I'm torn. There's a part of me that's happy that this season is over. A season that was over hyped by the media and the fans just because it happened to be the 100th. There's also a part of me that just hates having to go 5 months without any hockey. Here's to a summer of changes starting with Bob Gainey.

& While we have a lot of UFA's this season...Saku better be the top priority. I can't see him in another jersey.

Adios Habs. See you in September.

TNC

This is basically why they're my favorite band...

Onto 2009-2010?!

This years playoffs are boring me to death. It's so sad. It's not even because the Habs are currently being owned by the Bruins(which is to be expected). It's mainly because out of the 8 teams I'm going for, ONE of them is currently leading their series. I know it's still early but even the match-ups are boring. There's on intensity. Out of all the series I was expecting tons of emotion from the Bruins/Habs rivalry but it's non-existent. The most emotion I've seen was Carey yelling at some Bruins fan in between periods and that hardly counts. Ugh. Seriously Bruins, just put us out of our misery. This entire season has been complete crap. Last year was amazing, it was also full of some of the best hockey experiences of my life. This year was less than mediocre. I blame the media for hyping up the 100th season so much.

It's kind of like having a siamese twin..

You know what the greatest feeling in the world is? Laughing until tears are flowing down your cheeks and you can't breathe properly. You reach the point where everything is funny and you stomach hurts so badly that you have to hold onto your sides. I don't know if it's because everything is falling into place and I'm experiencing some of the most amazing days of my life but tonight I got to experience that feeling. I think I laughed for two hours straight. Maybe it's because she's exactly like me so we understand each other so well? I don't know, but I'm in such a ridiculously good mood right now because of this evening.

"It sounds like blah-diddy-blah-blah to everyone except those who speak it. You'd read a word for word transcript of our last conversation , you'd come to the conclusion that
Mel & I were total morons"
